GREENKEEPING
The greenkeeping team looks after the 30-hectare golf course with a lot of commitment and joy.
The challenge is to keep the grass healthy, to provide the golfers with the best possible playing conditions and to do this without major disruption to daily play - in all the different weather conditions.
COURSE MAINTENANCE
The main mowing days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If possible, care measures are carried out on Mondays or Tuesdays.
An intensive care week takes place in autumn. Soil is replaced on the greens and tees and the resulting holes are filled with new sand.
GREENS
✓ Cutting height 4mm in season
✓ Cut frequency 3-5 x/ week
✓ Depending on the growth
✓ Rolls 2-4 x/ week
✓ Instead of mowing or additionally for more green speed
✓ Spike or aerate with full tines every 2 weeks
✓ To aerate the floor, afterwards you roll, so it has little effect on the golf game
✓ Top dressing with a small amount of sand every 3-4 weeks
✓ Prevents thatch from forming, making greens faster and truer
TEE
✓ Cutting height 10-12mm
✓ Cutting frequency 2 x/ week
✓ Every 4 weeks there is a care measure such as scarifying, spikes or aerating with full tines

✓ Cutting height 10-12mm
